Sizes, lettering and finishes

Single castings are available up to about 48 inches wide, and larger signs are made as matched panels. Letters can be as small as a quarter inch for a name plate or several inches tall for a street facing sign. Choose from serif, sans serif and script lettering, single or double line borders, and a background finish in dark bronze, black, or a colour to match your brand. Logos and crests are cast as raised or recessed relief, and photographs can be reproduced as etched images.

Why bronze outlasts every other sign material

Bronze does not rust, warp or fade. It is the same material used for statues and memorials that have stood outdoors for a century. Raised letters are cast as one piece with the sign, so there is nothing to peel or fall off, and the surface can be polished or left to develop a natural patina. Compared with acrylic, vinyl or powder coated aluminium, a bronze sign costs more on the day and far less over the life of the building.

Mounting

Signs are cast with threaded studs on the back for epoxy fixing into brick, stone or concrete. For timber or metal we supply rosette screws, and for a modern floating look we can add standoff spacers. A fitting guide comes with every order and our team will advise on the best method when preparing your proof.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a bronze sign and a bronze plaque?

They are made the same way. A sign is usually larger, carries a business or building name and is read from further away, so we recommend bigger lettering and a simpler layout. The design tool handles both.

Can you cast our logo in bronze?

Yes. Upload your logo as a clean image or vector file in the design tool and it is cast as raised or recessed bronze. Fine detail and small text are checked on your proof before casting.

What sizes can you make?

Signs are available from 8 inches up to 48 inches wide as a single casting. Larger signs can be made as two or more panels. The price for each size is shown in the tool.

How are bronze signs mounted?

With threaded studs and epoxy into masonry, with rosette screws on timber or metal, or on standoffs for a floating look. Tell us the surface and we will recommend a mounting on the proof.

Do you ship signs to businesses across the USA?

Yes. Shipping is free across the USA and we ship worldwide. Large signs are crated for safe transit.
